Extrusion plant
The extrusion plant produces aluminium profiles to order. Modern extrusion technology has resulted in a continuous increase in the use of aluminium profiles. Extrusion technology and low-cost tools provide the designer with great freedom to tailor each profile to suit every use. In addition to the more usual building and machine building industries, aluminium is also becoming increasingly common in the transportation engineering, electrical engineering and electronics sectors.
Purso Oy invests in the latest technology
Purso has invested in the sector’s latest technology by acquiring a new extrusion line, which is one of the most modern in Europe, for its production plants in Siuro. The extrusion force is 27 MN (megaNewtons).
Purso profile
Purso’s three extrusion lines have extrusion forces of 35, 27 and 16 MN. They are best suited for the extrusion of profiles weighing 0.2 – 20.0 kg/m. Our services also include machining and surface treatment of profiles.

Available alloys
| EN AW-6063 EN AW-Al Mg0,7Si | The most common extrusion alloy. Good tenacity, very suitable for anodizing. |
| EN AW-6060 EN AW-AlMgSi | Almost exactly the same as the 6063 alloy, but slightly softer. |
| EN AW-6005 EN AW-AlSiMg | Somewhat better tenacity than 6063. Suitable for anodizing. |
| EN AW-6101 EN AW-EAl MgSi | Conducts electricity well. Same tenacity as 6063. |
| EN AW-6082 EN AW-AlSi1MgMn | Construction alloy. Not especially suited for anodizing. Min. wall thickness is 3 mm. |
